Blake's Admission Calendar

Admission applications for the 2009-10 school year will be available after September 1, 2008. A list of important dates to remember during the admission and financial aid process is provided below. All other questions regarding specific events and campus tours can be directed to (952) 988-3420.

September 2008

Applications are available online at Blakeschool.org or from our office after September 1. Please call (952) 988-3420 or e-mail us at admissionsinfo@blakeschool.org to request a paper application. If you have previously requested admission materials, they will be sent during the last week of September.

Student day-visits, screening and interviews are scheduled after applications are received in the Admissions Office.

October 2008

Campus tours for inquiring families begin this month.

November 2008

Campus tours, student day-visits, screening and parent interviews for all applicants occur during this month.

  • Saturday, November 15: PK-12 Admissions Open House, all campuses, 9:00 a.m. – Noon (Please note: our Highcroft Campus Open House is 10:30 a.m. – Noon on this day)

December 2008

Campus tours, student day-visits, screening and parent interviews for all applicants continue during this month.

  • Thursday, December 4: PK-5 Admissions Open House, Highcroft Campus, 9:00 a.m.

January 2009

Campus tours, student day-visits, screening and parent interviews for all applicants continue during this month.

  • Friday, Jan. 9: PRIORITY DEADLINE - Financial Aid materials for current families must be received by the Financial Aid office by this date.
  • Saturday, Jan. 10: Financial Aid Workshop, 9:00 a.m., Hopkins Campus
  • Monday, January 12: Grades 9-12 Information Meeting for Parents and Students, 7:00 p.m., Northrop Campus
  • Wednesday, Jan. 14: PK-8 Admissions Information Meeting, 6:45 p.m., Hopkins Campus
  • Saturday, Jan. 31: PRIORITY DEADLINE – all Admissions and Financial Aid applications must be received and/or postmarked by this date.

February 2009

Campus tours, student day-visits, screening and parent interviews for all applicants continue during this month.

  • Monday, Feb. 23: PRIORITY DEADLINE - all supplemental Financial Aid materials must be received by the Financial Aid office by this date.

March 2009

Campus tours, student day-visits, screening and parent interviews for all applicants continue during the first two weeks of this month.

April 2009

  • Friday, April 3: Admissions Decisions mailed (all grades)
  • Monday, April 13: Blake Lower and Middle School Admission Coffee, 8:45 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 14:
           Highcroft Lower Admission Coffee, 8:45 a.m.
           Upper School Luncheon, 11:00 a.m.

May 2009

  • Wednesday, May 13: Blake Lower School New Family Picnic, 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 20: Highcroft Lower School New Family Picnic, 5:30 p.m.
